PGS-CA Ancestor Map

Remember the push-pin map that appeared at all of our major events? Yes, it was a great idea to see where our ancestors all came from. However, at the end of the event, the push-pins went back into their plastic box, the map got folded up, and we all went home.

Since 2015, we have been adding locations of our ancestors to our PGS-CA Ancestor Map (see: https://goo.gl/tHsPHZ).

If you would like to add your information to the PGS-CA Ancestor map, send the following information to Gregg Legutki: president@pgsca.org

    Include:
  • Your name.
  • The SURNAME you are researching.
  • The LOCATION of the surname you are researching.
  • Any other information you may wish to include in the pop-up window.

Your information will be added to the PGS-CA Ancestor Map. However, your name will be changed to your Member Number. People will be able to contact you through a new email address that will pass the message through the PGS-CA system. This email will then be forwarded to you, and it will be your choice to get in touch with the person who initiated the contact.

As you can see from the map, we already have quite a few members who have provided their information. We currently have the map sorted by location. We would appreciate any input on how we can improve the map!
